Dear Parents,

 

The best gift any parent can give a child is the love of books and the joy and benefits of good reading.  As we are beginning a new school year, we are also beginning our first monthly Scholastic order. 

 

If you are new to Scholastic book orders, I hope you will take advantage of this fantastic way of adding books to your child’s library and foster a love of books and reading.  Each month, I will send home a Club Flyer with different selections of books offered.  It is very simple to order books, just go through the flyers, and complete the form at the back.  Just be aware that some items do require that you add tax so make sure you check the correct column for the total price for Ontario (ON).  Also, even if you order from different flyers, you will only need to include one cheque to pay for all of them.  Cash cannot be sent to Scholastic in the mail so please only send in CHEQUES made out to Scholastic Canada Ltd. Lastly, if you choose to purchase through the online parent pay, please remember to send in your paper order form, otherwise I do not know which books you want.  

Please know that there is no obligation to buy any books, however by purchasing books/gifts through Scholastic you are also helping to add books and resources to our classroom library.  For example, if each child just bought 1 book a month we could add a few new books to our classroom library each month as well!
